Mr. Gota has more than 40 years of hands-on experience with heating, air conditioning and commercial refrigeration. His experience includes energy management systems, controls, system design, service, retrofit and installations for both residential and commercial HVAC systems. Mr. Gota is a former HVAC specialist for the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, maintenance director of Komoi Ko Inc, CEO of Aaron’s Cooling and Heating (1992-2009) and is now currently the CEO and RMO responsible managing officer for Value Heating and Air Inc. After a short retirement in 2009, Jeff had returned to manage Value Heating and Air Inc. where he is committed to providing extraordinary service to all his customers. Companies Mr. Gota had operated have won awards for being the best in the HVAC industry. SMUD recognized his company as the top-rated SMUD contractor in Sacramento. His companies have won TRANE’s distinguished dealer award. Most recently Value Heating and Air Inc was named The Best of Sacramento 2018 air conditioning contractor. When Jeff is not working he enjoys spending time traveling, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.
Mike has more than 20 years hands on experience in heating and air conditioning. Mike started working in the HVAC industry in 2003 right out of high school. He started in the shop, cleaning, stocking and loading up the service trucks for the next day. Within the first month of woking in that particular company he was promoted to a technician assistant, shortly there after he earned his technician certification. By the age of 20 Mike was a foreman and the lead at 3 new community projects in Bakersfield, CA. In 2007 Mike moved from Bakersfield, CA to Sacramento, CA and started working for George Guide Air Conditioning. During his time with George Guide Air Conditioning, Mike was taken under the wing of Stan Johansen, another technician with over 30 years experience in residential and commercial heating and cooling. Mike received great knowledge and experience while working with Stan. During his time there he met Jeff Gota. Mike would help Jeff throughout the years, when Jeff needed an extra hand. In 2005 the owner of George Guide unfortunately passed away and Jeff knowing the experience and the type of employee Mike was, offered him a job with Value Heating and Air.
Mike has been working with Jeff Gota at Value Heating and Air Inc. since the beginning of 2006. Mike specializes in repairs and maintenances. When Mike is not working, he likes to spend his spare time with his dog Jax, he also spend a lot of his free time on the softball field with his daughter and the soccer field with his son. Mike also has a 1965 Ford Ranchero that he loves more than anything else and attends car shows with is father.
Maritza is Value Heating and Air Inc.'s office manager. She has extensive experience working in the construction and HVAC industry. Along with her husband Mike, they live in Sacramento with their two kids and dog Jax.
Stan is a well-rounded and experienced technician with more than 34 years of hands on experience in the HVAC industry. He specializes in commercial and residential heating and air. Stan has also worked on fully custom commercial projects and custom homes, including custom brass and copper lines. He had the privilege of installing the HVAC system in the personal home of Carol Burnett's daughter here in Sacramento.
